What People are Saying. . . .

What People are Saying. . . .

I know Theresa from when she was math faculty for Pima Community College and I was hired at East campus with her. After her retirement she selflessly came back and is serving on the board of Pima Community College now. She has gotten a feel for what needs to be done and how much serving the public in this capacity can help, and I'm excited to see who she could help in a city council seat. - Makyla Hays

Theresa Riel truly cares! I’m happy to endorse such a worthy person!- Kelly Okeefe

Theresa Riel is a fantastic person. I met her when she said yes to running for the PCC Gov Board. She is a hard worker, she does her research, her values are solid and she is open to hearing feedback and even changing her mind when presented with new information. She is breath of fresh air and would make a great city council person. - Paula Arnquist

I’ve known Theresa since working with her at my very first job way back in high school. Then, as now, I’ve appreciated and admired Theresa’s openness, honesty, and sincerity, and her amazing ability to make absolutely everyone around her feel her welcoming and supportive attitude. Theresa’s kindness, caring, and integrity has made her one of those people who is deservingly liked by everyone fortunate enough to meet her. I have absolutely no doubt whatsoever that she will do everything in her power to drive pragmatic, positive change for her ward and the city of Tucson, and will also be a positive, cooperative, and uniting influence to the entire city council. Good Luck and Thank You Theresa! - Richard Lloyd

Hi, I'm Theresa's son. If you're reading this, you likely already support my mom, but if not, hopefully reading mine and other’s endorsements will help you believe in her and her vision for Tucson. While I was in high school, I stayed in the RUHS marching band until I realized I didn't like marching band. Even after that departure, my mom choose to continue to support the RUHS band, as she believed in the community it fostered and the importance of education. She raised my brother and me to care about education and our community, and we saw her selflessly donating her time and effort to our neighborhood, all while raising the two of us and working full time at Pima Community College. I think she will do great things for the city. Vote Theresa! Love you mom, Pascal
